Hey coffee lovers and on-the-move espresso enthusiasts! If you’re like me, the thought of starting your day without a good shot of espresso feels almost sacrilegious. But let’s face it, crafting that perfect espresso outside the comforts of your kitchen can be tricky. That’s where the Outin Portable Electric Espresso Machine comes into play—a clever gadget that promises to bring café-quality espresso to wherever life takes you.
Today, we’re diving into what makes this little powerhouse a worthy companion for travelers, campers, or simply anyone craving a fresh, aromatic espresso without the fuss. I’ve had some hands-on time with it, and let’s just say: it’s impressively easy to use and surprisingly effective for such a compact device.
“ I originally purchased the Outin Nano in September 2024. My first unit had an issue, but the customer service was outstanding – they quickly sent me a replacement without even asking me to return the old one. (September 2025) The new machine works perfectly. It’s compact, easy to use, and produces a nice espresso with a good crema. I really appreciate how much the brand cares about their customers and stands behind their product. Highly recommended both for the quality of the coffee and the excellent support! ”
"I have been using the outin nano as my daily espresso machine for ~ 6 months now, and it has become one of my favorite products across all of the things that I own. I have extensively used both the included nespresso adapter and the nano basket plus (separate accessory). For ~$200 with accessories, this little machine makes exceptional coffee that stands up as a daily driver. The nano basket makes a significantly better shot than nespresso pods, but the pods are hard to beat for convenience. The basket does require attention to grind size and mass of coffee for consistent results. Also, and unsurprisingly, there is no shot pressure control, so grind size, mass, and amount of water used are the only variables available to adjust your extraction. If you don't yet have a grinder you like, I've found that ~17.5g of Illy's classic espresso grind or decaf is a good place to start. I have not used the included espresso basket as it is significantly smaller than the nano basket and has too many plastic components for my comfort."
